INTRODUCTION <br /> Advanced.GeoEnvironmental; Inc (AGE)-has prepared this site assessment report (SAR) for - - <br /> 6421 Capitol Avenue (the site), Lodi, California The scope of work Included advancement of six <br /> Geoprobe soil borings (P-39 through P-43), installation of one, dual-completed ground water <br /> monitoring well (MW-19) and preparation of this report The site setting is illustrated in Figure 1 <br /> Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> The objective of this site assessment investigation was to characterize, assess and monitor on-site <br /> and northern off-site MTBE-Impacted soil and ground water,and to Install a repeatable ground water <br /> monitonng point north of the Flag City Chevron site This report is prepared in accordance with <br /> guidelines issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region <br /> (RWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites A summary of previous <br /> Investigations conducted at the site was included in AGE's Final Remediation Plan,dated 31 August <br /> 2000 <br /> The following is a chronology of this site assessment Investigation <br /> 0 20 January 2004-Advancement of two Geoprobe soil borings(P-41 and P-42)to maximum <br /> depths of 50 feet below surface grade (bsg), selected grab water samples and soil samples <br /> collected at five-foot intervals <br /> a 21 January 2004 - Advancement of three Geoprobe soil bonngs (P-39, P-40 and P-40A)to <br /> maximum depths of 51 feet bsg, selected grab water samples and soil samples collected at <br /> five-foot intervals, P-40 encountered drill refusal at eight feet bsg-' <br /> • 22 January 2004 - Advancement of one soil boring (P-43) to a maximum depth of 51 feet <br /> below surface grade, selected grab water samples and soil samples collected at five-foot <br /> intervals <br /> e 14 May 2004-Installation of one,dual-completed ground water monitoring well(MW-19 A <br /> and B) to a maximum depth of 50 feet bsg, soil samples collected at five-foot intervals <br /> Y 20 May 2004 -Well development activities performed at MW-19 (A and B), initial ground <br /> water samples collected following well development activities <br /> a 10 June 2004 - Global positioning system (GPS) and well elevation data collected for well <br /> MW-19 (A and B) <br /> i <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
