PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Registered Geologist Procedures for ground water extraction well installation, underground piping <br /> • system installation, pump and treat system start-up period, sampling, monitoring, maintenance and <br /> progress/confirmation sampling are outlined below <br /> 61 DRILLING <br /> The following procedures will be performed prior to any digging/drilling activities <br /> • Prepare a Site Health and Safety Plan in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities - Prepared by National Institute for <br /> Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U S Coast <br /> Guard and U S Environmental Protection Agency, October 1985 <br /> • Notify the RWQCB and PHS-EHD a minimum of 48 hours prior to commencement of any <br /> work, whale securing proper soil boring or well installation permits <br /> • All drilling locations will be marked at least 48 hours in advance for an Underground Service <br /> Alert (USA) check of underground utilities or pipes <br /> 62 OFF-SITE SYSTEM DESIGN <br /> .
