1 <br />' 13 July 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 <br />' Page 3 of 15 <br />' 2 3 LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER PUMP AND TREAT SAMPLES <br /> Monthly influent and effluent grab water samples were logged on a chain-of-custody form, placed <br />' in a chilled container and transported to a California Department of Health Services(DHS)-certified <br /> laboratory for analysis for <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline, diesel and motor oil (TPH-g, TPH-d <br /> and motor oil, respectively)by EPA Methods 3550/503018015 Modified, <br />' • Volatile aromatic compounds - benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene (BTEX) with <br /> methyl-tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) by EPA Method 8020, <br />' • Fuel oxygenated compounds -methanol, ethanol, tertiary butanol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether <br /> (DIPE), ethyl tert butyl. ether (ETBE), tert amyl methyl ether(TAME) and MTBE by EPA <br /> Method 8260 Modified, <br />' • Total lead by EPA Method 6010/200 7, <br /> • Nitrate as NO3 by EPA Method 353 3 (effluent samples only), and <br />' • Aquatic toxicity (Bioassay) by EPA Method EPA 600/4-90/027F (quarterly sampling <br /> frequency, effluent samples only) <br /> Receiving water samples(Coldam ditch)were logged on a chain of custody form,placed in a chilled <br /> container and transported to a DHS-certified laboratory for analysis for <br /> • Total dissolved solids by EPA Method 160 1 (quarterly sampling frequency), and <br />' o Turbidity by EPA Method 180 1 <br />' 24 INFLUENT MONITORING <br />' In accordance with the requirements of RWQCB Monitoring and Reporting Program No 5-00-119, <br /> monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent monitoring was performed for TPH-g, TPH-d, <br /> TPH-mo, BTEX,MTBE, methanol, ethanol, RIPE, TAME, ETBE and TBA on 09 April, 03 May, <br /> 04 and 13 June 2001 An influent-total lead sample was collected on 04 June 200, effluent-total lead <br /> samples collected on 09 April and 03 May 2001 were utilized for reporting influent-total lead, <br /> effluent-nitrate samples collected on 09 April, 03 May and 04 June 2001 were utilized for reporting <br /> the influent-nitrate <br /> Influent water samples collected on 09 April, 03 May and 04 June 2001 contained MTBE (detected <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
