�� rr <br /> SIERRA <br /> Clint Rogers Page 4 <br /> March 25, 1991 <br /> Each of these tasks is described below. <br /> Task 1 - Site Safety Plan <br /> Using site history SES will prepare a site-specific safety plan. The safety plan will identify <br /> potential site hazards and specify procedures to protect site workers. The safety plan will be on1' <br /> site during field operations.' <br /> Task 2 - Area Business Survey <br /> SES will conduct an area business survey to identify properties and businesses within a <br /> two-block radius of the site. An area reconnaissance will be performed and the addresses <br /> obtained in the reconnaissance will be used to conduct a records search at the San Joaquin <br /> County Health Department and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. The results of the <br /> research will be included in the subsurface investigation report. <br /> Task 3 - Drilling and Monitoring Well Installation <br /> Three soil borings will be drilled at the site and three monitoring wells will be installed in <br /> the borings in accordance with SES Standard Operating Procedure - Well Installation (Appendix <br /> B). A typical well construction detail is included in Appendix A. <br /> The wells will be drilled by Soils Exploration Services of Vacaville, California, C57#582696. <br /> Prior to drilling, utilities will be located by USA and Chevron maintenance. <br /> All drilling equipment will be(steam-cleaned priorf`to use and all sampling equipment will <br /> be washed between samples using an EPA-approved detergent such as Liquinox and rinsed with <br /> potable water. <br /> Is, ;The borings logs will be logged in accordance with SES Standard Operating Procedure - <br /> Logging Method (Appendix B) under the supervision of Roger Greensfelder, R.G. #003011. <br />
