Time In: 11:41 am <br /> ''crFou-• <br /> Time Out: 12:23 pm <br /> Food Program Complaint Inspection Report <br /> Name of Facility: KOSMOS DRIVE IN Date: 10/11/2019 <br /> Address: 720 E CHARTER WAY, STOCKTON 95206 <br /> Owner/Operator: Telephone: (209)464-6063 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00050659 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> FACILITY IS REUSING FOOD TO SELL AND DUMPING THEIR GREASE IN THE DITCHES OR SEWER DRAINS. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Upon arrival I spoke with owner who stated having no knowledge of complaint. Owner then stated that all fries, steak for steak <br /> sandwiches and patties are made when they are ordered. observed prep cooler next time stove and grill which contains <br /> refrigerated patties and a separate cooler with contain steak that will be cooked when ordered. I asked if toppings are re-used <br /> the next day if they do not run out and owner stated that toppings usually last him till the end of the day but if anything is left it <br /> is discarded and new toppings are prepared daily. Underneath the stove there is two hot holds. One holds steak sandwiches <br /> or burgers that are prepared for a phone order and awaiting pick up and the other contains taco meat and chicken that is used <br /> for burritos.The meat is prepared daily and owner stated that if the meat runs out, he alerts his customers before hand, a <br /> certain amount of meat for tacos and burritos is made daily. I then asked where the owner dumps his grease and when isit <br /> picked up. The owner stated that is grease is tossed every night into na grease bin he contains in the back of his facility <br /> parking lot. Observed bin and the bin does contain grease. Then owner then stated that the bin is picked up for disposal once <br /> every two weeks or sooner if necessary.
