Parsons Engineering Science, Inc <br /> REQUEST FOR CLOSURE REPORT <br /> GREYHOUND LINES, INC. <br /> STOCKTON TERMINAL <br /> LOCATION 8969 <br /> 121 SOUTH CENTER STREET <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report summarizes remedial program. work performed at the Greyhound Lines Inc <br /> (Greyhound) Terminal Location 8969, 121 South Center Street, Stockton, California <br /> (Greyhound Terminal Location 8969) The format of this report follows Appendix B, Tri- <br /> Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of <br /> Underground Tank Sites, Requests for Closure (Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region 1994) <br /> The work performed includes removal of an underground fuel storage tank (UFST) and <br /> associated piping, advancement of soil borings, sampling of subsurface soils, installation of <br /> monitoring wells and implementation of a regularly scheduled groundwater monitoring <br /> program The work summarized was performed in accordance with guidelines set forth in <br /> the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manual Guidelines for Site Assessment, Cleanup, and <br /> Underground Storage Tank Closure (State of California Leaking Underground Fuel Tank <br /> Task Force 1989) and the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary <br /> Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Storage Tank Sites (California Regional Water <br /> Quality Board - San Francisco Bay Region, Central Valley Region and North Coast Region <br /> 1990) In addition to the remedial program summary, this report discusses investigative work <br /> recently performed (August and September 1996) <br /> The ten appendices included in this report contain pertinent supplemental information <br /> Appendix A contains the perrruts required to advance the soil boring and install the new <br /> monitoring well MW-4 Appendix B contains photodocumentation of recent offsite <br /> investigative activities The soil boring log and well construction summary are contained in <br /> Appendix C Groundwater monitoring field notes for the most recent groundwater <br /> monitoring event are contained in Appendix D Chain-of=custody records and certified <br /> analytical laboratory reports for soil and groundwater samples are contained in Appendices E <br /> and F, respectively Appendix G contains historical groundwater elevation information <br /> Historical soil and groundwater analytical data are contained in Appendices H and I, <br /> respectively The California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region <br /> (RWQCB), Leaking Underground Storage Tank Program Case Closure Checklist is <br /> contained in Appendix 1 <br /> PARESSYROI VOLIR 1WP1727607 80969127607R03 WW6 l <br />
