Its
MARCH 1995
QUARTERLY STATUS REPORT (CONTINUED)
maximum TPH-D concentration was 16,000 mg/kg. The second supplemental site
assessment report was submitted to PHS-EHD in November 1994.
In August 1994, Greyhound returned to a quarterly sampling program in response to a
request from PHS-EHD (letter dated August 12, 1994). The PHS-EHD was concerned
about rising water levels beneath the site and the detection of TPH-D in one of the
groundwater samples collected in June 1994
A final site assessment was implemented by Greyhound in August 1994 to fully
delineate the horizontal and vertical extent of soil contamination as directed by the
PHS-EHD. A Supplemental Site Assessment Report was submitted by Greyhound to
PHS-EHD in November 1994. Greyhound has received comments to the Supplemental /
Site Assessment Report dated February 3, 1995 One additional ✓
monitoring well is planned to define the western limits of the soil and groundwater f
contamination
• Water Level measurements from most recent sampling event
/Fable 1 provides water level measurements and other physical data obtained during the
4 March 9, 1995 site visit Free-product and hydrocarbon sheens were not observed in
. any o f momtonng we ffs.
Figure 2 is a site plan that includes water level elevations based on the March 9, 1995
water level measurements The water elevations indicate that groundwater was flowing
.south under a low hydraulic gradient. The groundwater elevations were not contoured Z
because the elevations measured in the three wells differ by less than 0 30 feet.
• Water Level measurements from previous monitoring events
Table 1 presents the water level measurements and other physical data obtained during
previous monitoring events Free-product and hydrocarbon sheens were not observed
in any of monitoring wells during these events
• Analytical results from most recent sampling event
Table 2 summarizes the analytical results from the March 1995 quarterly sampling
event. None of the analytical parameters were detected in any of the samples.
t
PARESSYROIIVOLI WP1727211108969108969L01 DOC
2
