They are: <br /> The effective date of the Remedial Action Order is <br /> March 1, 1988 . <br /> The Department approved the Phase IV Workplan (with <br /> revisions) on April 29, 1988 . <br /> Receipt of the October 14 , 1987 , transmittal was <br /> actually December 17, 1987; see enclosed copy of note <br /> from Mr. Dave Bates. <br /> It was the decision of MCTC not to proceed with field <br /> activities upon receipt of the Department ' s <br /> April 29, 1988, approval letter. <br /> We will be glad to meet with you and your consultant to discuss <br /> the details required in the RI/FS reports.
