Immediately <br /> close this container and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> The following containers were observed in the hazardous waste area without accumulation start dates: <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing paper/metal used oil filters <br /> -One blue 30 gallon steel drum containing paper/metal used oil filters <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Since it cannot be determined how long the <br /> hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste <br /> under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> In the hazardous waste area: <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing paper/metal used oil filters was observed without a hazardous waste <br /> label. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil was observed without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used antifreeze was observed without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used antifreeze was observed with an illegible hazardous waste label. <br /> -One blue 30gallon steel drum containing paper/metal used oil filters was observed wihtout a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One blue 30 gallon steel drum containing paint waste was observed with a hazardous waste label missing the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> FA0016505 PR0538505 SCO02 02/13/2019 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.09/22/16 Page 5 of 6 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br />
