' HARGIS+ASSOCIATES, INC.•
' Timothy J. Verhagen, Esq.
July 16, 1993
Page 3
Comparison of water level elevation data obtained in January-February 1993
with April -May 1993 data indicates that water levels increased in seven shallow
zone monitor wells and the nonpumping reclamation well S-2 (MW-104) during this
period (H+A, 1993) . Water level increases ranged from approximately 3.2 feet in
monitor well MW-104 to approximately 5.9 feet in monitor well MW-7 (Table 3) .
' 1 .2 100-Foot Sand
' Water level elevations in six 100-foot sand monitor wells and nonpumping
reclamation wells ranged from approximately -55.9 feet msl in monitor well MW-411
to approximately -53.7 feet msl in monitor well MW-310 (Table 3; Figure 2) .
' Monitor well MW-411 is located on Sinclair Avenue approximately 100 feet north
of Main Street. Monitor well MW-310 is located on Washington Street east of
Adelbert Avenue.
' Comparison of water level elevation data obtained in January-February 1993
with April -May 1993 data indicates that water levels increased in five of
six 100-foot sand monitor wells and nonpumping reclamation wells during this
' period (H+A, 1993) . Water level increases ranged from approximately 2.0 feet in
monitor well MW-410 to 3.2 feet in monitor well MW-310 (Table 3) . The water
level in monitor well MW-411 decreased approximately 3.0 feet during this period.
Based on historical trending, it appears that the previous water level
measurement in this well was anomalously high (H+A, 1993) .
' 1 .3 Intermediate Zone
Water level elevations in 29 of 30 intermediate zone monitor wells ranged
' from approximately -43.5 feet msl in monitor well MW-441 to approximately
55.3 feet msl in monitor well MW-442 (Table 3; Figure 3) . Monitor well MW-441
is located approximately 1,100 feet east of the MCTC north yard. Monitor
well MW-442 is located on Main Street, approximately 700 feet west of Walker
1 Lane. A water level was not measured in monitor well MW-328 because access was
obstructed.
' Comparison of water level elevation data obtained in January-February 1993
with April -May 1993 data indicates that water levels increased in 29 intermediate
zone monitor wells during this period (H+A, 1993) . Water level increases ranged
from approximately 1 .8 feet in monitor well MW-435 to 5.5 feet in monitor
' well MW-1 (Table 3) . Monitor well MW-435 is located near Oro Avenue, between
Guernsey Avenue and the Mormon Slough. Monitor well MW-1 is located near the
northwest corner of the MCTC facility north yard.
1
