• •ENTATIVE <br /> CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br /> CALIFORNIA WATER CODE SECTION 13267 <br /> MARLEY COOLING TOWER COMPANY <br /> GROUNDWATER EXTRACTION AND TREATMENT SYSTEM AND SODIUM <br /> DITHIONITE/ETHANOL INJECTION PILOT TEST <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> This Monitoring and Reporting Program is issued pursuant to Water Code Section 13267. The <br /> Discharger shall not implement any changes to this Program unless and until the Regional Board or <br /> Executive Officer issues a revised Monitoring and Reporting Program. Regional Board staff shall <br /> approve specific sample station locations prior to implementing of sampling activities. <br /> SOIL FLUSHING SYSTEM MONITORING <br /> Monitoring of the injection water(treated water)will consist of analysis of effluent samples from the <br /> treatment system. <br /> Effluent samples from the Andco and ion exchange treatment plants shall be collected prior to discharge <br /> into the North Yard pipeline that conveys effluent to the Stockton Diverting Canal. Effluent samples <br /> shall be combined into a single sample,which is representative of the volume and nature of the <br /> discharge from each component of the treatment plant. Sample analysis must follow EPA methods <br /> (6020/hydride for arsenic, 6020/200.8 for copper, 6020/200.8 for total chromium, 7199/1636 for <br /> hexavalent chromium, and 160.1/SM2540C for total dissolved solids as described in SW 846).
