However, visible signs of staining <br /> were noted at the bottom and sides of the excavation. The area was over-excavated until no visible <br /> signs of staining were evident. One sample was collected beneath the used oil UST. Soil sample i <br /> analytical data is presented in Table 3. There were no detections of petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> Stockpiled Soil <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected in soil stockpiled during station demolition activities. Soil <br /> analytical data is presented in Table 4. On April 1, 2003, approximately 129 tons of excavated soil <br /> was removed to Forward Landfill Incorporated (Forward) in Manteca, California for disposal.
