Surface grade will be completed to match existing conditions at each <br /> well location. <br /> Well construction details are included in Table 1. <br /> Over-drilling to Depth <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5, MW-8M and MW-81D will be destroyed <br /> by removing the well box at each wolf and over-drilling each, well to their respective <br /> total depths using a drilling rig equipped with 12-inch diameter hollow stem augers. <br /> Neat cement grout will be tremie piped from the total depth of the well to just below <br /> surface grade. Surface grade will be completed to match existing conditions at each <br /> well location. <br /> Well construction details are included in Table 1. <br /> Investigation Derived Waste <br /> Potentially impacted waste derived during well destruction activities (e.g. soil <br /> cuttings, groundwater and decontamination liquids)will be temporarily stored on site <br /> in Department of Transportation (DOT)approved 55-gallon drums, with secured lids <br /> and proper labels, while pending characterization, removal land disposal. ARCADIS <br /> will coordinate disposal with an appropriately licensed subcontractor. <br /> FReporting and Schedule <br /> Upon receipt of EMD approval for the work plan and procurement of necessary <br /> permits, ARCADIS will schedule the destruction of the 18 groundwater monitoring <br /> wells associated with the site.
