} r
In July 1998, SECOR sampled two UST pit observation wells Analytical results from
the sampling event indicated that MtBE was present in one observation well at a
concentration of 52 4 ppb Depth to water during the observation well sampling was
approximately 10 feet bgs
On February 10, 11, and 12, 1999, four groundwater monitoring wells (MW-I through
MW-4) were installed at the site On May 8, 2000, one continuous core soil boring (B-
1) was completed adjacent to the product island by Precision Sampling of San Rafael,
California Soil boring B-1 was advanced to 60 feet below ground surface (bgs) using
Precision Sampling's direct push Enviro-Core sampling system Soil boring B-1 was
continuously cored and groundwater "grab" samples were collected at depths of 30 feet,
45 feet, and 60 feet bgs On June 2, 2000, three groundwater monitoring wells (MW-5
through MW-7) were installed downgrathent of the site by V&W Drilling of Isleton,
California Wells MW-5 through MW-7 were installed to a total depth of 25 feet bgs
and were screened from 5 to 25 feet bgs Groundwater flow direction beneath the site is
to the east-southeast The hydrocarbon plume is not currently defined in the down
gradient direction
This report presents our understanding of existing conditions at the subject site The
conclusions contained herein are based on the analytical results, and professional
judgment, in accordance with current standards of professional practice, no other
warranty is expressed or implied SECOR assumes no responsibility for exploratory
bonngs or data reported by other consultants or contractors
