' KLEINFELDER <br /> I <br /> State Agencies <br /> Th following The olio ing State of California agencies were reviewed for this assessment <br /> California Environmental,Protection Agency (Cal-EPA) - <br /> • Cal-Sites list, including the Bond Expenditure Plan (BEP) and List of Active Annual <br /> Workplan Sites (A WP) <br /> The Cal-EPA maintains a database of potentially hazardous waste facilities identified as the Cal- <br /> Sites list These sites are identified through the historical Abandoned Site Survey Program and <br /> federal, state, and county funded site evaluation programs, and includes BEP and AWP listed <br /> properties The Cal-EPA published the BEP in 1985 to identify California hazardous waste sites <br /> targeted for clean up by responsible parties, Cal-EPA, and the U S EPA The BEP was updated <br /> annually through 1990 In 1991, the List of Active Annual Workplan Sites (AWP) was <br /> published as an interim update to the BEP The Cal-Sites list is reviewed for facilities within a <br /> ' one-mile radius of the subject site <br /> • Hazardous Waste and Substances Sites List(CORTESE) <br /> Pursuant to Assembly Bill 3750 (1986), the Cal-EPA has the responsibility of compiling a list of <br /> various identified hazardous waste and substances facilities within the State of California The <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control, State Water Resources Control Board, and the <br /> California Integrated Waste Management Board submit information included on this list The <br /> purpose of this list is to inform local agencies of hazardous waste and substances sites identified <br /> by the State of California The CORTESE list is reviewed for facilities within a one mile radius <br /> of the subject site <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board RW CB <br /> • Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Report <br /> The LUST list contains information pertaining to reported leaking underground storage tanks <br /> within the State of California Information includes the date of the reported release, affected <br /> media (e g soil, groundwater, other), remediation status and closure data The LUST list is <br /> reviewed for facilities within a one-half mile radius of the subject site RWQCB investigations <br /> are also included on the CORTESE list <br /> 20-1129-1112011R211 Page 2 of 3 <br /> ©1997 Kleinfeldu InL July 14, 1997 <br />
