Schedule Changes: <br /> A draft schedule for the design and construction of the soil remedial measure was <br /> submitted to DTSC on June 9, 1998. This schedule was also presented during an October <br /> 8, 1998 meeting with DTSC on the remedial design. <br /> The draft schedule calls for the draft RDIP to be submitted to DTSC at the end of October, <br /> 1998, and for approval of the final RDIP by the end of December, 1998. Construction of <br /> the soil remedial measure is expected to begin in April, 1999. <br /> IV. Activities Planned for Next Quarter: <br /> On October 8, 1998, PG&E met with DTSC to go over the draft RDIP. At this meeting, <br /> the contents of the RDIP,the draft soil remedial design drawings, the proposed soil <br /> management plan,the proposed soil verification sampling plan,the proposed groundwater <br /> monitoring program and the draft schedule were discussed. In addition PG&E and DTSC <br /> discussed whether the RAP needs to be amended because of recent regulatory changes <br /> which affect management of tar pit residue and discussed what concentration of <br /> polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons is acceptable in soils to be used as backfill. <br /> V. Results of Analyses. Tests or Other Data: <br /> Groundwater sampling was conducted in June, 1998 and in September, 1998. The <br /> analytical results for the June, 1998 sampling were submitted to DTSC and the RWQCB <br /> on July 31, 1998 in the Quarterly Monitoring Report, PG&E Stockton Former MGP Site, <br /> Second Quarter, 1998.
