This amended application was a submitted to correct the piping <br /> crossover issue at UDC 7/8 after the following repairs were completed (1) replace under dispenser <br /> containments (UDCs) and dispensers on UDC 3/4 and 7/8 with new Bravo B1000 UDC and Gilbarco <br /> Encore 700 dispensers (respectively), (2) convert tank#1 (from the 87-octane to diesel), (3) change <br /> gasoline probe in Tank#1 to Veeder Root Mag Diesel probe, (4) install NOV FRP rigid diesel piping <br /> from tank #1 to UDCs 3/4 and 7/8, (5) modify existing gasoline and vapor piping to connect to the <br /> newly installed UDCs, (6) upgrade Veeder Root TLS 350 monitoring system to reflect diesel tank <br /> conversion changes, (7) disconnect 87-octane siphon line (at tank#1 and tank#2 STP sumps), (8) cap <br /> the vapor return line (at tank#1 and tank#2 STP sumps) and cap diesel vent riser (at vent stack), and <br /> (9) remove phase I vapor cap and adapter on tank#1 fill sump and install threaded pipe cap on riser <br /> on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been <br /> approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Zuna Barker at (209) 953-7311 to arrange the following ("a" through "c") inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br /> inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Verify piping setback and crossover prior to backfill. <br /> b. Secondary containment testing of all exposed product piping in operating condition (once <br /> concrete is poured), per manufacturer's guidelines. One hour pressure test per <br /> manufacturer's guidelines is required, if there are no manufacturer's guidelines, this test <br /> shall be performed using an applicable method specified in an industry code or engineering <br /> standard. <br /> c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on UDC 7/8. <br /> d. Overfill prevention verification: Verify that external audio and visual alarm at the newly <br /> converted diesel tank activates when tank is 90% full. Overfill prevention set up calculations <br /> must be submitted to the EHD prior to scheduling this inspection. This inspection was <br /> conducted on 7/2/18 <br /> 1868 E.
