Fernando's Place - 2 - 16 February 2016
1201 South Center Street
Stockton, San Joaquin County
2. Boring B6 is proposed to be advanced to a depth of 165 ft bgs, north of CPT-13. Grab
groundwater samples are proposed at depths of 50, 80, 125, and 165 ft bgs. CPT-13
was reported with TPHg and benzene in groundwater at 184 ft bgs at concentrations of
120,000 and 25 ug/L, respectively. As such, B6 should be advanced to 200 ft bgs, with
additional grab groundwater samples collected at 185 ft bgs and total depth.
3. Hydrocarbon concentrations were below reporting limits in the grab groundwater
samples collected from 118 ft bgs in CPT-15 and 148 ft bgs in CPT-13. As a result, no
groundwater samples are proposed to be collected between 80 and 145 ft bgs in boring
B4 and between 125 and 165 ft bgs in boring B6. In order to provide proper vertical
delineation, please collect groundwater samples at 120 ft bgs in B4 and at 148 ft bgs in
proposed boring B6,
4. By 19 May 2017, please submit a Site Assessment Report, summarizing the
assessment activities. Based on the results of this assessment, please include in the
Report recommendations for the location and depth of wells to be installed to confirm
the extent of the plume.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding comments in this letter please call me at
(916) 464-4615 or contact me by email at alan.buehler@waterboards.ca.gov.
Alan M.
