(Sara Lee), PSC Environmental Services (PSC)in <br /> conjunction with ETIC Engineering(ETIC)is submitting this confirmation letter, pertaining to <br /> shutdown of the air sparging and soil vapor extraction(AS/SVE) system at the above referenced <br /> facility(Figure 1). <br /> { <br /> 1, On December 13, 2005,the AS/SVE system was turned off, following collection of the weekly <br /> treatment system samples. We subsequently called you and Kai Chan of the San Joaquin Valley <br /> Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD)to provide initial notification of system shutdown. <br /> The AS/SVE system will remain at the site and the SJVAPCD permit will be retained should <br /> additional remediation be required in the future. <br /> As noted in our previous letter to you, dated November 18, 2005,we will continue quarterly <br /> j groundwater monitoring to assess the effectiveness of remediation and to evaluate the potential <br /> for contaminant concentrations to "rebound."
