After.the sale of the Property, Kilpatrick's Bakeries, Inc. was dissolved and became a division of Campbell-Taggart. I am attaching a copy of the January 1988 Agreement For Sale of Real Property and a copy of the July 1990 Release between Kilpatrick's, Woodard and Whitman for your reference. Kilpatrick's removed the 1,000 gas UST in December 1990. Kilpatrick's subsequently arranged and paid for the disposal of the 18 cubic yards of contaminated soil at the Property. Finally, Earthgrains has voluntarily assumed responsibility for the site characterization and piping abandonment referenced above in order to'have this matter resolved. Earthgrains and Kilpatrick's have made every effort to cooperate with PHS-EHD in the additional environmental investigations and corrective action at the Property. Earthgrains has satisfied any obligations that may have been associated with Kilpatrick's ownership of the Property. Earthgrains respectfully requests that PHS-EHD look to Mr. Gregerson, as the current owner of the Property, for the preparation and submittal of a proposed"Work Plan"responsive to PHS-EHS's request for the monitoring wells to be used for additional site characterization at the Property. j Earthgrains will continue to cooperate with PHS-EHS in supplying whatever information Earthgrains may have access to that may assist in resolving this matter.
