<br /> Monitoring Well InstallatIon. Two proposed groundwater
<br /> monitoring wells (TJ•5 =d H^6)will be in$Mlled at the general
<br /> locations shown on Figure 2. The proposed wells will be installed 13
<br /> • ► feet below the current tivsxsx'level and will be screened from 5 feet
<br /> above. All work will be done in accordance with the permits
<br /> obtained by the San,Joaquin County Department of Envjronmental
<br /> Management and the City of Tracy. 45
<br /> • Soil Boxing. One continuous core soil baring(B-4)wiIJ be drilled
<br /> tlarottgh the former waste oil tank complex(Figure 2). The boring
<br /> will extend to approximately 50 feet bgs or until a minimum of two
<br /> non detects are mea=d using field analytical techniques (PM or „
<br /> FM). A hxydrop rwh will then be driven into ,groundwater and a .
<br /> disorete sample taken. „
<br /> • • Soil Selection and Analysis. 'Soil samples will be collected every
<br /> five vertical feet in the borings_A continuous core seriph will be
<br /> collected from Boring B-4 to analyze geological conditions on site,
<br /> SeIected soil samples takes from the monitoring well locatia s will
<br /> be submitted to a Califbtnia State-certified laboratory and analyzed
<br /> for the presemce of total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel(TPH-d),
<br /> total petroleutrt hydrocarbons as gasoline,(TPH-g), benzene,tofu ,
<br /> ethylbenzene,xylates (}3M),MtBE, and notal Lead. Selcme,d
<br /> s=ples taken from Boring B-4 will be analyzed for the above listed .
