5.2.1 O -Site Reconnaissancc Enviros performed a limited off-site reconnaissance(not greater than 112-mile radius)to evaluate the types of businesses surroundingthe subject propertyand assess whether adjoining properties conducted activities,historically or currently, that could have impacted the subject property. Service stations,and auto garages have operated in the vicinity of the subject property. All activities associated with each business in the vicinity of the subject property could not be ascertained. The northeast corner of Central Avenue and East 11th treet is currently occupied by the Salvation Army Thrift Store. According to Polk City Directories,Sanborn Maps,and aerial photographs,the property has been occupied by an auto repair garage which sold gasoline and oil products. However,the property is not listed on the RWQCB Fuel Leak List. The northwest comer of Holly Drive(Central Avenue) and West 11th Street is occupied by a commercial building (real estate office).According to Polk City Directories and aerial photographs the property has been occupied by a service station. However, the site is not listed on the RWQCB Fuel Leak List. The southwest comer of Central Avenue and West 11th Street is occupied by a commercial building. According to Sanborn Maps, the property was occupied by Tracy Public School.
