Cily of Tracy Building artm n <br /> The City of Tracy Building Department was consulted for permits issued for the subject <br /> property.Two permits were found in the file pertaining to the service station. The first <br /> permit,dated August 7, 1951, was a building permit for additions to a service station.The <br /> second permit,dated December 26, 1956, was a building permit for a service station <br /> remodel. <br /> Chy of Imy Fim Dgp=ne= <br /> The City of Tracy Fire Department was consulted for historical information and permits <br /> issued for the subject property. No permits were found and no information was available to <br /> determine if the USTs were removed or abandoned in place. According to Fire Department <br /> personal,the time period the service station was closed(September 30, 1965) no Fire Code <br /> was implemented.Therefore,it is unknown if the UST`s have been removed. <br /> &gignal Water d andS a -ui County Health DeRg=cLnt <br /> The Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)and the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services (SJCPHS) were consulted for information on the subject property. A <br /> Phase I Site Assessment has been conducted by L.M. Swift&Associates for the Wells <br /> Fargo Bank located at 1034 Central Avenue (southern portion of the subject property). <br /> San Joaquin County Health Department reviewed the Phase I Site Assessment and a <br /> Subsurface Investigation report was prepared by L.M. Swift&Associates. The reports <br /> determined that significant contamination is present beneath the property and additional <br /> work needs to be performed. San Joaquin CountyHealth Department has requested a <br /> workplan be submitted for the continued soil and groundwater investigation.The Phase I <br /> Site Assessment and additional information is presented in Appendix C. <br /> 5.2 Vicinity Properties <br /> Properties in the vicinity of the subject property have been occupied by businesses which <br /> use or store hazardous materials. Polk City Directories and Haines Cross Directories were <br /> used to evaluate land use in the surrounding area.A historical table has been compiled <br /> showing businesses located on and in the vicinity of the subject property(Table 2). <br /> Because of the time period during which may of these businesses were present, limited or <br /> no information was available from federal, state or ideal agencies. . <br /> 6 <br />
