Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br /> OBSERVATIONS: I observe an employee, using empty cup,to add ice from ice container(not using the scoop). I coached <br /> the employee on how to avoid food contamination. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All food shall be separated and protected from contamination. By observing the employee at drive thru delivery station, he was handling <br /> the cups by bare hand from the top but not from inside.As per manager, internal procedures requiring all employees to wash <br /> hands every 30 minutes. I saw couple of employees washing hands between tasks. Facility has 2 hand wash stations; one by <br /> drive thru and one in the back. Hand sink by the drive thru was partially blocked by drawers unit. Remove item for full <br /> accessibility of the hand wash station.
