Charter Way, Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Rowe:
This letter is written by Pinnacle Environmental Solutions, a member of The IT Group
(Pinnacle), on behalf of ARCO Products Company (ARCO) as response to your subject
work plan approval and to update you on the schedule for the work to be performed at the
site. As we were awaiting your work plan approval (received 11-3-99) before proceeding
with the scheduling of the site work in the event you had changes in the proposed work
scope, the schedule for the proposed work has changed. The deep drilling and installation
of conductor casings and wells to be performed at the site was bid out to drilling
companies. The drilling company that won the bid to perform the work (Woodward
Drilling Co.)is fully booked with field work and cannot commence the job at this site until
December 22, 1999. Anticipated date to complete the entire drilling job is by January 10,
2000. Report preparation will commence upon receipt of all laboratory results.
We will inform you of any other scheduling changes that may occur due to weather or
other conditions, should there be any changes. If you have any comments or questions
concerning this letter or site, please contact me at (530) 676-6882 or Mr. Kyle Christie of
ARCO at (714) 670-5303.
Sincerely,
Pinnacle Environmental Solutions
Jffman
e n
Technical Coordinator
cc: Pat Anderson, CRWQCB, Central Valley Region
Kyle Christie, ARCO Products Company
James De Georgio, California UST Reimbursement Fund
CP:\C:\Archive\Arco\2168\Cones\RR110599.doc-98psg:1
