The Site Safety officer or the field team <br /> leader has the authority to shut down drilling operations <br /> whenever a hazardous situation is deemed present. <br /> ELECTRIOAL EQUIPMENT <br /> All electrical equipment and power cables used in wells or <br /> structures containing petrochemical contamination must be <br /> explosion-proof or intrinsically safe, and equipped with a three- <br /> wire ground lead as described in National Electric Code (NEC) <br /> Class I Division I, II groups A, B, C, and D. <br /> EMERGENCY RESPONSE <br /> Irt the event of an accident or emergency situation, im- <br /> mediate action must be taken by the first person to recognize the <br /> event. First aid equipment is located on-site with the field <br /> personnel.
