<br /> This report has been prepared for Texaco Refining and
<br /> T4ariceting Inc, (Texaco) , in response to a request from the San
<br /> Joaquin Local Health District (SJLHD) . Texaco, i[poii removal of
<br /> two product dispensers at 440 charter Way, Stockton, California
<br /> _. in preparation for new Constxuct.ion, noted that the soil had been
<br /> impacted by gasoline hydrocarbons in the shallow subsurface.
<br /> Texaco has initiated a subsurface environmental investigation to
<br /> assess the impact of hydrocarbons beneath the site.
<br /> PURPOSE
<br /> Texaco Wishes to take the steps discussed herein in order to
<br /> investigate and assess the situation as required by the SJLHD.
<br /> All work will comply with the Occupational Safety and Health
<br /> `b Administration (OSHA) Standard "Hazardous Waste Operationt- and
<br /> Emergency Response", (29 CFR 1910.120) , and various state and
