Y• s
CAMBRIA
WORK PLAN ADDENDUM
Provided below is an addendum to Cambria's August 26, 1999 Site Investigation Work Plan
Elements of the original work plan that are altered by this addendum are discussed below
Elements of our original work plan that are not discussed below will be performed as specified
in the original work plan
Soil Borings
We propose drilling two soil borings (CPT-] and CPT-2) at the locations shown on Figure 1
CPT-1 is proposed adjacent to boring SB-3 and well VEW-4 This is the same location we
proposed in our original work plan CPT-2 is proposed adjacent to well MW-11 to determine
if gasoline constituents have migrated vertically downgradient of the source area Each of
these borings will be drilled to a minimum depth of 80 feet below grade (fbg) The final depth
of these borings will be based on field evidence of the presence of gasoline constituents in soil
and groundwater samples Soil staining, sample odor, and photo-ionization detector readings
will be monitored to determine if gasoline constituents are present at each sample interval
The boring will be terminated when field evidence indicates the absence of gasoline
constituents 10 feet below the last sample that showed evidence of gasoline constituents
Chemical Analyses
Chemical analyses for soil and groundwater samples will be performed as detailed in our
original work plan Gasoline oxygenate and lead scavenger analyses will be performed on
groundwater samples collected from the two proposed drilling locations Gasoline oxygenate
and lead scavenger analyses may or may not be performed on soil samples collected from the
proposed soil borings as discussed above
Schedule
Cambria will implement our work plan, as amended by this document, upon receipt of written
approval of this work plan addendum from PHS/EHD
1399 5
