PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for <br /> remediation of an underground storage tank site located at <br /> 508 West Charter Way has been reviewed by San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) . <br /> The plan is a proposal for the re-excavation of approximately 800 <br /> cubic yards of soil which was contaminated due to unauthorized <br /> releases associated with underground storage tanks (UST) which <br /> were located on the property. <br /> PHS/EHD, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tenative <br /> determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State <br /> and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will <br /> not create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed <br /> the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at <br /> the304 East Weber Ave. , Stockton during normal working hours, <br /> 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. <br /> Final approval for the plan is scheduled for 10/8/1996 . <br /> Questions should be directed to Harlin Knoll regarding site <br /> specific procedures . <br /> DATED: <br /> BY: <br /> PUBLISH: <br /> NEWSPAPER: <br />
