Procedures for the proposed well installation are <br />provided in detail below. <br />WELL INSTALLATION WORK PLAN <br />Based on Water Board requirements to perform the proposed ISCO pilot test, AGE has <br />prepared this work plan detailing the installation of two (2) shallow and two (2) <br />intermediate ISCO injection wells. Procedures for the installations are provided below. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The scope of the work includes the drilling and installation of two (2) shallow and two (2) <br />intermediate injection wells for the performance of an ISCO pilot test. The scope of work <br />will include the following tasks: <br />• Permitting and pre -field work activities; <br />• Pilot drilling; <br />• Injection well installation and development; <br />• Well installation reporting; <br />PERMITTING AND PRE -FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br />Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD). In addition, an update to the health and safety <br />plan presently on -file will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and <br />Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for <br />Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. <br />Environmental Protection Agency, 1985). Prior to mobilization, each proposed <br />boring/well locations will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained through <br />Underground Service Alert. <br />DRILLING <br />AGE proposes to advance a total of four (4) pilot soil borings to depths of 40 feet below <br />surface grade (bsg; shallow injection wells) and 65 feet bsg (intermediate injection <br />wells). Soil borings will be advanced using a truck -or track -mounted drill rig equipped <br />with 8.25 -inch hollow -stem augers. Proposed well locations are illustrated on Figure 3. <br />Soil samples will not be collected during installation of the proposed wells. <br />Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc. <br />
