Charter Way , Stockton , Ca . <br /> We have 3 monitoring wells at this site and have been quarterly <br /> monitoring the site for a year . We have found the hydraulic <br /> gradient to be to the east or northeast all of this time . <br /> The chemical analyses of the wells have recorded large <br /> unexplainable swings in contamination of the groundwater . <br /> I understand you are in charge of the tank integrity program . <br /> To the west of our site on Charter Way , there are two gasoline <br /> stations , within a block . We would be interested in knowing if <br /> the tank integrity tests , have remained negative at these <br /> stations . <br /> Also , I recently did a visual survey of the businesses on the <br /> south side of Charter Way . I noted some subterranean objects <br /> behind the " U Stop Market " next door to 702 E . Charter Way . A - <br /> pipe comes out of the ground at this site and is easily seen <br /> from the alley behind the store .
