The LEL system did not appear to be the cause of the shut-down . The system was re-started on Tuesday
and abnormal noise was noted originating from the DPE blower motor. The system was immediately shut down
and the manufacturer ( Mako Industries) was contacted .
Today, (Wednesday, 6-2-10), a Mako rep and AGE rep examined the system and disassembled the DPE blower
and found a failed bearing. The system is hard down until parts can be ordered and re-installed .
On another note, concerning the modification of well EW-1, the well was developed by an AGE representative
on Tuesday, June 1St. The modified well appears to produce sediment-free water.
Upon the completion of the repairs to the DPE blower and success re-start, modified well EW-1 will be brought
on-line, while taking wells AW-1 and VW-1 temporarily off-line to test EW-1.
I will keep you informed regarding the status of the system repairs.
Best regards,
Arthur Deicke
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Stockton • Santa Rosa ^ Monterey • Brea o Spokane • Reno
1 -800-511 -9300
adeicl<e@?advgeoenv .com
www.advgeocnv .com
This email m ssage iS forrhe Sole use of the mten(led recipients ) andmay contain confidential and tnivilegedinformation .
Any unauthorized review. use, disclosure or distribution of this email, lax is prohibited.
