OGT-SI.� ARTESIAN E N V I R O N M E N T AL CONSULTAN T S Date October 1, 1992 CV, Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Sampled August 21, 1992 1045 W Charter Way Stockton, California Project No 040-001 Prepared for Mr Dante John Nomellini, Esq Nomellini Construction Company P O Box 1528 Stockton, California 95201 E: C% Erm � V EPE 0 CT 14 1092 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PERMIT/SERVICES This report presents the results of the quarterly groundwater monitoring well sampling, performed on August 21, 1992 by Artesian Environmental Consultants (Artesian) at the subject site (Figures 1 and 2) The site history is summarized in Appendix A SITE DESCRIPTION The site is located at 1045 West Charter Way, in Stockton, California A site location map is presented in Figure 1 A site location map showing the location of the site structure and former USTs is presented in Figure 2 The property is located in an industrial area. GROUNDWATER SAMPLING On August 21, 1992, Artesian staff measured depth to water, purged and sampled four groundwater monitoring wells designated MWA through MW -6 All groundwater samples were collected according to the Artesian standard operating procedures (SOP) for groundwater sampling included in Appendix A Free product measurements were made with an oil -water interface probe All purged water was temporarily stored in three DOT 17-H, 55 -gallon containers pending analytical results The groundwater samples were shipped under chain -of - custody to state -certified Chrornalab, Inc of San Ramon, California GROUNDWATER FLOW Figure 3 shows the potentiometrlc surface of shallow groundwater based on depth -to - water measurements taken on August 21, 1992 The estimated groundwater gradient was 0 008 vei tical feet Oer horizontal foot for the August, 1992 sampling event Groundwater -elevation data are presented in Table 1 The estimated groundwater flow direction at the site in August, 1992 was toward the SSE
