0 <br />' ANALYTIC RESULTS <br />Groundwater samples from monitor wells MW -1 through MW -6 from the August, <br />1992 event were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (1'PH-g) by <br />modified EPA Method 8015 and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes <br />(BTEX) by EPA Method 8020 The analytic results for all sampling events, including <br />this round of sampling, are summarized in Table 2 The chain -of -custody form and <br />laboratory reports with quality assurance/quality control documents are included in <br />Appendix B <br />COMMENTS <br />The groundwater flow direction and gradient for the August, 1992 sampling event <br />was to the SSE, which is surnlar to the direction from the May 1992 sampling event <br />TPH-g concentrations were detected at levels as high as 16,000 ppb in MW -4 BTEX <br />compounds were detected as high as 7,000 ppb (in MW -3), 2,800 ppb (in MW -4),13 <br />ppb (nn MW -4) and 1,600 ppb (in MW -4) Free product was measured in monitor <br />wells MW -1 and MW -2 at 0 82' and 0 50' thickness, respectively <br />DISTRIBUTION: <br />Submission to the RWQCB and the local implementing agency should include a copy <br />of this report (un its entirety) and a cover letter from the property owner/trustee agent <br />Four copies of this report have been included for your files and for distribution to the <br />following agencies <br />Public Health Service/Environmental Health Division <br />San Joaquin County <br />445 N San Joaquin Street <br />P O Box 2009 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />Ann Ms Linda Turkatte <br />Central Valley Region <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br />Sacramento, CA 95827-3098 <br />Attn Ms Elizabeth Thayer <br />
