11N cop, et
It then passes through the oxidizer to be thoroughly combusted at the pre-
set levels described before. All Oxidizer chambers are sized for a one second
retention time.
All vapors are monitored for LEL% prior to entering the oxidizer and are
maintained at a pre-set level by a controller in the panel which receives a
signal from a sensor transmitter in the process line. The controller modulates
the dilution valve to allow an accurate flow of vapor. The system also
contains a manual valve to add further dilution on some sites that have very
high concentrations We also monitor Oxygen level and record it, if the level
drops too low the system will close the isolation valve and open the purge
valve until the level returns to a safe condition. This is done much in the
same manner as the LEL level with the sensor/transmitter sending a signal to
the controller which also sends a signal to the chart recorder
•
