E.: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, rubber/ leather work boots, tyvek coverall. 7:40A Fuel equipment: 58 gallons into E1 15 gallons into B1 7:50A Move temp s/p at A10 onto 6m 8:15A Continue dig at A5 s/p Al 8:OOA Carrie Fisher going to land fill. Will return @ noon to set up c/s for 2PM 8:OOA Charlie (f) with Armour Petroleum on site to pump product out of VTL1 into drums. S. Cox assisted for 20 min. 9:30A S. Cox leaves site 10:OOA Finish dig at A4 s/p Al 11:OOA Dig A8 s/p Al 0 12:OOP Dig A6 s/p Al 12:30P Carrie Fisher calling agencies to do partial sample or reschedule sampling for 05/15 2PM. Informed Carrie Fisher that our unit (E1) could not lift the empty fuel tank out of the secondary containment area. Option was given that either Dillard or Forward could make arrangements for a crane to lift the tank out so the contaminated soil could be excavated. Carrie Fisher will check into crane and advise. 1:OOP Begin dig A7 temp. s/p A7 1:25P Charlie with Armour back for 2nd load. 2:40P E. Figueroa on site. Tailgate safety meeting. Discuss scope of work. Approximately 1 (45) gallons left in VTL1 along with sand, dirt, and debris. A. Reg signed shipping documents, secured VTL1 . 3:OOP Linda Turkatte with SJC Environmental Health on site. Will return 05/15 for sampling. Would like 2 hour notice prior to sampling. 3:15P Tarp s/p Al 0 with 4 mill (4m) poly visqueen. 4:20P Steve with Husky Crane Service on site to look at fuel tank. Set up tank removal for 6AM 05115/95. Dillard personnel need not be present for this. 4:30P Leave jobsite for Byron office. 5:30P Leave voice mail report as requested by Harlin Knoll, SJC Public Health Services @ 209-468-3442.
