Hunter & Associates 2220 Loma Vista Dr <br /> Registered Geologists Sacramento, CA 95825 <br /> Petroleum & Mineral Appraisers (916) 972-7941 <br /> FAX (916) 972-1683 <br /> December 28 , 1995 <br /> Joel M Weiss, Engineering Geologist <br /> CRWQCB, Central Valley Region <br /> 3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br /> Sacramento, CA 95827-3098 <br /> Ref Fourth quarter 1995, Groundwater Monitoring Report for <br /> Independent Trucking facility, 1145 West Charter Way, <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mr Weiss; <br /> We have enclosed a copy of the field report, water analysis <br /> results, gradient map, and maps showing approximate lines of <br /> equal concentrations of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, S <br /> TPHg, & TEPH based on the latest sampling event The field work <br /> was performed on December 6, 1995 by Del-Tech Geotechnical <br /> Support Services as directed by our office We have included the <br /> monitoring well recently placed by Nomellini Construction Co at <br /> the east side of the site We are referring to it as MW-5 in our <br /> • reports The work was scheduled to be done in October, but was <br /> delayed due to equipment problems (Del-Tech, ) and approval from <br /> adjacent owner to include their well in our program <br /> The attached PLATE I shows the potentiometrzc surface based upon <br /> the latest data It is to the north at approximately 751 /1001 , <br /> at an average depth of -17 95 msl datum The gradient has <br /> shifted about 90-degrees since the July, 1995 sampling, which <br /> indicated a gradient to the east However, the Nomellani well <br /> was not included in our July sampling, therefore a comparison z � <br /> between the two sets of data may not be valid The water tablb" <br /> had risen an average of 055 feet between the two sampling - <br /> events <br /> The results of the laboratory analyses of water samples collected-; i <br /> from the wells are summarized on TABLE I ; laboratory worksheet-9 <br /> are included in the report A comparison between the results 79f <br /> the July & December analyses is summarized below for your infero- ° ' <br /> matron: 4�, - <br /> MW-1 Xylene & TPHg, which were present in the water sample taken <br /> in July were below detection levels in December Toluene was the <br /> only constituent detected in the December sampling, it increased <br /> from 4 0 ug/L to 6 0 ug/L <br /> MW-2 Toluene & Xylene were the only compounds detected in July, <br /> they were below detection limits in December However, TEPH as <br /> 1 <br />
