•
i
motor oil was measured in the December sampling at 57 0 ug/L, it
was below detection limits in July
MW-3 The July sampling revealed only Benzene at 0 3 ug/L, the
December sampling revealed ALL measured substances were below
detection limits
MW-4 Benzene was measured at 0 5 ug/L in July, it was below
detection limits in December Toluene was measured at 0 5 ug/L
in July, and at 1 0 ug/L in December Ethylbenzene was ND in
July, but 17 0 ug/L in December Xylenes were detected at 12 0
ug/L in July, & 10 0 ug/L in December TPHg, which was ND in
July, was measured at 417 0 ug/L in December TEPH, (diesel
range, ) was measured at 6900 ug/L in July, and 2020 ug/L in
December
MW-5 (Nomellini well ) We did not sample this well in July, but
the December event showed very high levels of benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, xylenes, & TPHg TEPH was below detection limits
SUMMARY OF RESULTS OF THE LATEST WORK
. PLATES II through VII show the estimated lines of equal concen-
tration of the six tested substances from the latest sampling
event A brief discussion of those plates follows .
BENZENE - Monitoring wells #1 through #4 , which were placed in
July per WJH workplan, were all below detection limits This
contrasts with the July results, which revealed that MW-3 & MW-4
contained minor amounts
TOLUENE - MW-1 measured 4 . 0 ug/L in July, and 6 . 0 ug/L in
December MW-2 & MW-3 were ND in both samplings MW-4 measured
0 5 ug/L in July, and 1 0 ug/L in December
ETHYLBENZENE - MW-1, MW-2 , & MW-3 were ND in both events MW-4 ,
which was ND in July, revealed 17 0 ug/L in December
XYLENES - MW-1 & MW-2 measured minor amounts in July, both were
ND in December MW-3 was ND in both events MW-4, which
revealed 12 0 ug/L in July, measured 10 0 ug/L in December
TPHg - MW-1 showed 78 0 ug/L from the July sampling, it was ND in
December MW-2 & MW-3 were ND from both events MW-4, which was
ND in July, measured a concentration of 417 ug/L in December, a
significant increase
rTEPH - MW-1 & MW-3 did not reveal any TEPH during either sampling
2
