J. Hunter & Associates <br /> February 7, 1995 <br /> PURPOSE OF THIS ADDENDUM: <br /> On November 7, 1994, Wm. J. Hunter 4 Associates, (WJH, ) prepared <br /> a workplan for placing three (3) soil borings on the property, <br /> and converting one of them to a groundwater monitoring well. A <br /> copy of that workplan, without attachments, is included as <br /> EXHIBIT A. On December 9, 1994, the CRWQCB responded, stating <br /> that at least three (3) wells would be required. In addition, <br /> further investigation in the area of the destroyed leach field <br /> would be necessary due to the presence of gasoline & voc' s in the <br /> water. Refer to EXHIBIT B for a copy of that letter. <br /> This addendum addresses those issues, and also gives details of <br /> additional excavation work at the site of the three (3) diesel <br /> tanks which were removed in October, 1994. That work revealed <br /> that soil contamination extended to the water table in the area <br /> at the west end of the 10,000 tank. For that reason, an <br /> additional monitoring well is proposed in a downgradient position <br /> from the removed tanks to assist in defining the lateral extent <br /> of contamination. <br /> PROPERTY ADDRESS: <br /> 1145 W.
