<br /> analyses taken since initiation of the project Laboratory
<br />' results from MW-1 thru MW-8 are included as EXHIBIT F, the
<br /> results from MW-9 are included as EXHIBIT I Xylene was detected
<br /> in Monitoring well #6 at 0 7 ug/L, benzene, toluene, ethyl-
<br /> benzene, TPHg, TEPH, & chloronated solvents, (EPA 8010, ) were all
<br /> below detection limits MW-7 was non-detect for BTEX, TPHg, &
<br /> TEPH Trichloroethene was detected at 6 9 ug/L, but all others
<br /> were ND MW-8 , located dust west of the shop building, and close
<br /> to the removed septic system, measured benzene at 6 0 ug/L, and
<br /> toluene, ethylbenzene & xylenes at 1 0 ug/L TPHg was measured
<br /> at 56 0 ug/L, TEPH was ND 1, 1--Dichloroethane was found at a
<br /> concentration of 22 0 ug/L, all other chloronated solvents were
<br /> ND These levels are reasonably consistent with prior data
<br /> However, MW-9 revealed amounts of BTEX & TPHg far higher than
<br /> seen in any of the other 8 wells located on the site Benzene
<br /> was measured at 10, 800 ug/L, toluene at 9 , 840 ug/L, ethylbenzene
<br /> at 3 , 360 ug/L, xylenes at 14 , 000 ug/L, and TPH as gasoline at
<br /> 111, 000 ug/L TEPH & chloronated solvents, (EPA 8010, ) were
<br /> below detection limits
<br /> MTBE was detected only in MW-5, which as associated with the
<br /> Nomellini site to the east That well, located at the eastern
<br /> edge of the property, was placed by Nomellini Construction Co to
<br /> I assist in delineation of a soil & groundwater plume caused by
<br /> leaking UST' s at that location That plume is present beneath
<br /> the Independent Trucking site at least as far west as MW-4, and
<br /> possibly MW-3
<br /> PLATE V shows the potentiometri.c surface based upon the 7/26/1996
<br /> sampling event The direction is to the east/northeast , the
<br /> gradient flattens from about 01 ' /ft at the southeast end of the
<br /> site, to less than 002 ' /ft at the northeast end MW-9 had not
