Equipment Company Page 2 <br /> 1245 West Charter Way January 31, 2013 <br /> Stockton, California 95206 <br /> • Reduction of frequency of injecting hydrogen peroxide or conversion of some of the <br /> wells to air sparge wells if DO and ORP levels are sustained; <br /> • Quarterly monitor and sample the groundwater from monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5, MW- <br /> 6, MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, observation wells OW-2 and OW-3 and proposed wells MW-11, <br /> MW-12 and MW-13 for chemical analysis for TPH-g and BTEX; <br /> • Quarterly monitor and sample the groundwater from observation well OW-1, monitoring <br /> well MW-5 and proposed well MW-11 for analysis of metals: barium, cadmium, calcium, <br /> chromium (III and VI), copper, iron, lead, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, <br /> bromide and bromate; <br /> • Compliance with the requirements of the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board Central Valley Region for submitting a Notice of Intent to comply with the terms of <br /> the General Waste Discharge Requirements and the Monitoring & Reporting Program <br /> No. R5-2008-0149; and <br /> • Submittal of semi-annual report of findings regarding groundwater monitoring and <br /> remediation efforts. <br /> The EHD approves the CAP with the condition that methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) is added <br /> to the analyses of soil and groundwater. On 18 January 2013, the EHD posted public <br /> notification of pending approval by this department of the CAP to implement additional <br /> remediation at this site. The public has 30 days to express disapproval of the pending <br /> remediation at this site.
