Equipment, 1245 W. Charter Way, Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mr. Infuma: <br /> As requested by a telephone conversation on September 15, 2011, the purpose of this letter is to <br /> provide a brief summary to date of the Phase I implementation of the Remedial Action activities <br /> proposed in the Remediat Action Plan Addendum,dated May 27,2011 and to request a reduction <br /> in the ground water monitoring for this fiscal year. <br /> The following is a brief progress report: <br /> • GTI completed the installation of four injection wells (IW-1 through IW-4) and three <br /> observation wells(OW-1 through OW-3)on June 29, 2011. <br /> • During installation, the wells were surged and an initial development performed to insure <br /> drilling activities would not clog the wells with silt. <br /> • Each of the seven wells was surveyed on June 30, 2011 as required under AB-2886. <br /> • Observation wells OW-1 through OW-3 and injection well IW-4 were more thoroughly <br /> developed using mechanical surging,pumping and flushing methods on June 30, 2011. <br /> • The ORC socks were ordered and the 14 one foot sections of 6" ORC Advanced socks <br /> were assembled on September 7, 2011 and are ready for installation. <br /> • The air compressor and associated well head fittings were prepared and/or ordered on <br /> September 7, 2011. <br /> • GTI submitted the Notice of Intent (NOI) and associated Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program(MRP)to the Regional Board on September 8,2011 for review and approval. <br /> • On September 8,2011,GTI personnel met with the client on-site to evaluate the proposed <br /> location of the air compressor and associated air supply lines. GTI personnel confirmed <br /> that the electrical and water utilities have been turned on. <br />
