If hexavalent chromium or bromate <br /> compounds are detected in samples, the samples will be allowed to equilibrate without <br /> further treatment until the hexavalent chromium or bromate concentration drops to <br /> below the limits of detection. If arsenic is detected above background levels, the <br /> samples will be oxidized longer to determine whether further oxidation decreases the <br /> dissolved arsenic concentrations.
