Equipment Company <br /> 1245 West Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Project No 507 2 <br /> March 12, 2001 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 4"' Quarter 2000 round of groundwater monitoring and testing <br /> that took place on January 5, 2001 The analytical results of groundwater samples show that <br /> detectable concentrations of BTEX and TPH-G were present in five of eight groundwater <br /> monitoring wells The magnitude of the contamination in the wells is consistent with <br /> historical site data The fuel oxygenate compound MTBE was detected in two of the eight <br /> wells <br /> On January 5, 2001, the average depth to groundwater at the site was 14 94 feet bgs and the <br /> groundwater flow was N36°E at 0 003 ft/ft GTI has submitted a work plan for additional <br /> site characterization, which has been approved by San Joaquin County PHS/EHD The <br /> USTCFP has approved the cost of the project and the work is being established - <br /> 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> 1.1 Hydrogeology of Site <br /> The geology of the site is predominately clays and sandy clays with lesser amounts of silts <br /> • and sands The average groundwater elevation was —7 48 feet below MSL on January 5, <br /> 2001 MSL is approximately 7 37 feet below ground surface <br /> 1 <br />
