Equipment Company
1245 West Charter Way
Stockton, California
'
Project No 507 2
' June 19, 2001
MEXECUTIVE SUMMARY
' This report summarizes the results of the 2" Quarter 2001 groundwater monitoring and
testing event that tools place on June 1, 2001 For this event, the average depth to
groundwater at the site was 14 39 ft bgs and the groundwater flow was N77°E at 0 002 ft/ft
Vertical groundwater gradient calculations between MW-9 & 109 show that groundwater is
flowing downward at approximately two tines hoiizontal gradient
On May 24, 2001, two water table wells MW-7 and MW-10 were installed approximately
200 feet southwest and 150 feet northwest of, respectively, the former UST location (see
' Figure 2) to further define the lateral extent of the groundwater contamination plume To
define the vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbons, a discretely screened well MW-109
was installed in the location of the former UST The new wells were surveyed into existing
site data by a licensed surveyor— data included in Appendix D
The analytical results of groundwater samples from the existing and new wells show that
detectable concentrations of BTEX and TPH-G were present in seven of eleven
groundwater monitoring wells The magnitude of the contamination zn the wells is
consistent with historical site data Fuel oxygenate compounds were detected in five of the
wells
fl
s
