Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136138 <br /> I <br /> Dear Ms. Briggs: <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC (Equiva) to document the underground storage tank (UST) removal and site <br /> demolition at the above referenced site. Cambria performed inspections and soil sampling <br /> following the removal of three gasoline USTs four fuel dispenser islands, and associated <br /> product piping. The work was performed to omply with the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services (SJCPHS) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) guidelines. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description: The subject site is located oh the northeast corner of Airport Way and <br /> E. Charter Way in a mixed commercial/residential area of Stockton, California (Plate 1). <br /> The former site layout included two station b ildings, three fuel USTs, and four dispenser <br /> islands (Plate 2). K.E. Curtis Construction Company, Inc. of Newbury Park, California <br /> demolished the service station during April 1991). <br /> SAMPLING ACTIVITIES AND SAMPLE ANALYSIS <br /> Oakland, CA <br /> Sonoma, CA UST Removal: Three 10,000-gallon single-wall steel gasoline USTs were -removed on <br /> Portland. OR April 29, 1999.—Ms. Letitia Briggs of the SJC HS and Cambria field staff were present to <br /> Seattle, w Awitness the removal and condition of the tanks. The tanks were in good condition with no <br /> Cambria obvious indications of failure. <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,Inc. UST Soil Sampling: Cambria collected soil samples from the bottom of the UST excavation <br /> at locations specified by Ms. Briggs. Six samples (TS-A through <br /> z7o Perkins streeth TS-F) were collected at <br /> P.O.Box 259 depths ranging from 14.0 to 15.0 feet below grade (fbg) (Plate 2).
