Wilson Way
Stockton, California 95205
Dear Ms. Henry:
On behalf of TLM Petro Labor Force, Inc. (TLM), Environmental Applications, Inc.
(EnvApps), is pleased to submit this report on soil sampling and two small remedial
excavations made at the referenced facility. A sketch map of the property is attached. The
site is currently under remediation by ARCO under the supervision of SJEHD.
Site Description
The site is located in a commercial/industrial area of the City of Stockton, California. The
property is bordered on the south by Washington Street, on the east by Wilson Way, and
on the north and east by business properties. A convenience store building occupies the
northeast corner of the site, with eight dispensers located southwest of the building under
a single canopy. Three underground storage tanks (USTs) are located north of the
dispensers.
Permit and Soil Sampling
A permit was obtained from SJEHD by TLM to upgrade the UST piping and dispensing
system. Pea gravel was removed from beneath the dispensers and from the product
delivery and vapor recovery piping trenches to expose the pipes, and the pea gravel
stockpiled onsite.
On November 5, 2007, under your supervision, Mr. Ed Trosper of EnvApps collected one
soil sample beneath each of the eight dispensers (D1 through D8), and ten soil samples
from the piping trenches (P1 through P10) using a hand auger (Figure 1).
