All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Various Dim sum items and gravy on prep table by griddle (ready to be served in unheated containers) <br />above 50 F (see measurement lists below), cooked shrimps at 2D prep table center aisle 62 F, center aisle 2D prep table air <br />49 F, and griddle side 2D prep table 44 F. Immediately dispose potentially hazardous food (PHF) above 50 F, and provide <br />41 F or below for all cold PHF, or 135 F or below for hot PHF. Observed glutinous rice with meat, cooked shrimps, and <br />gravy disposed. This is a repeat violation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/ 45°F or at or above 135°F. (113996, 113998, <br />114037, 114343(a)) <br /> #13 Food Contamination and Adulteration MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Multiple food items including cut fruits and drinks stored on top of and within ice inside left side soda <br />dispenser ice maker; these items are for employee consumption according to management. Immediately remove all <br />contaminated ice, and store food away from non-food items and open food items not meant for customers to protect from <br />contamination. Observed ice disposed and food items removed from ice maker. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Any food is adulterated if it bears or contains any poisonous or deleterious substance that may render it <br />impure or injurious to health. No food containing artificial trans-fat, including oil, shortening, or margarine containing trans-fat may be <br />stored, distributed, or served by, or used in the preparation of any food within a food facility (113967, 113976, 113980, 113988, 113990, <br />114035, 114254(c), 114254.3, 114377) <br /> #4 Employee Eating, Tasting, Drinking or Tobacco Use <br />OBSERVATIONS: Employee eating in kitchen. Cease immediately eating or drinking in work area, eat only in break room <br />or away from work or any food storage area. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: No employees shall eat, drink, or smoke in any work area. Remove and provide cleanable and non-absorbent <br />surface in 1 day. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All liquid waste must drain to an approved fully functioning sewage disposal system.
