Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Observed one dead cockroach in storage area across from 3-compartment sink and one on floor near 2 <br /> door Bev Air beer refrigerator in front area. Clean and sanitize areas. <br /> CAL CODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM --LOCATION --TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> I went to facility and discussed complaint with "Karina' and spoke with owner"Elizabeth" on the phone. <br /> Per"Karina" and "Elizabeth"they were aware of complaint prior to my visit. <br /> Per"Karina' and "Elizabeth" there was no order on record for the date in question. <br /> I observed one dead cockroach in storage area across from 3-compartment sink and one on floor near 2 door Bev Air beer <br /> refrigerator in the front area. Clean and sanitize areas. <br /> Per"Elizabeth" pest control services facility once/month. <br /> I did not observe cockroaches on food prep surfaces and/or equipment at the time of inspection. <br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code.
