The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Caltrans-Lodi as of March 20, 2019. <br /> Open violations from August 08,2018 inspection <br /> Violation#502-Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system assessment requirements. <br /> Facility does not have a tank assessment for the 220 gallon used oil tank. The owner or operator of a hazardous <br /> waste tank shall obtain a written assessment reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified, professional <br /> engineer, registered in California attesting that the system has sufficient structural integrity, is acceptable for the <br /> transferring, storing, and treating of hazardous waste, and that the tanks and containment system are suitably <br /> designed. Immediately have an assessment prepared for the 220 gallon used of tank. Submit a schedule showing <br /> when this will be accomplished to the EHD. <br /> Violation#605-Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> The 55-gallon drum of undrained oil filters was missing the accumulation start date. The 55-gallon drum of <br /> absorbent and oil (sorbent waste)was missing the accumulation start date and the hazardous properties.All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. <br /> Since it cannot be determined how long these containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> Open violations from January 11,2016 inspection <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br />
